Container Unloader

As a Container Unloader, you ensure that our organic products are unloaded from containers safely, carefully and efficiently. Together with your colleagues, you help create a smooth start to our logistics process in our warehouse in Barneveld.
What will you be doing?
As a Container Unloader, you work in our warehouse unloading bulk bags from (sea) containers. This is practical, physical work where safety, pace and teamwork are key. You make sure the bags are placed correctly onto the conveyor belt so they can be further processed and stored. You work according to clear instructions and always with attention to quality and safety.
As a Container Unloader, your responsibilities include:
Setting up and preparing the unloading machine.
Unloading bags from containers and placing them onto the conveyor belt at the correct pace.
Ensuring safe and damage-free unloading in line with work instructions.
Identifying visibly damaged or leaking bags and taking immediate action.
Replenishing empty pallets at the unloading machine.
Maintaining order, cleanliness and safety in your work area.
Complying with health & safety, occupational (Arbo) and company regulations and using personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
Working closely with colleagues and supporting other warehouse activities, such as order picking.
Good to know:
You will receive a 32-hour contract per week. As container planning may vary, you are flexible and will regularly work additional hours.
Up to 40 hours per week any extra hours are paid at your standard hourly rate.
Any hours above 40 per week are paid at 125% of your hourly rate.
The working day currently starts at 07:00, with the possibility of changing to 06:00 in the future. Should the planning require a longer working day (ending no later than 18:00), you will be notified at least one day in advance.

You have a sufficient command of the English language.
Previous experience in logistics is a plus, but not required. Any necessary certificates, such as a reach truck or EPT certificate, can be obtained through us.
